Does ChatGPT recommend your brand?

A free AI visibility check that runs in your own ChatGPT. Fill in one line, tap your AI, and see who it names instead of you.

What do you sell?

Write it the way a buyer would say it. Don't name your brand.

2

Open your AI.

We copy the prompt as you tap. If the chat opens empty, paste it, and turn on web search.

See the prompt
I'm shopping for [what you sell]. I'm [who buys it]. I live in [where they live].

First, write the 10 questions a real buyer like me would ask an AI before buying: 4 "best" or "top" questions, 3 comparison or "alternatives" questions, and 3 specific questions about price, results or problems.

Then answer each question the way you would for any shopper. Search the web. For each answer, name the brands or products you'd suggest, in order, and list the websites you used as sources. Keep each answer short.

After that, I'll send you my brand name and website. When I do, go back over your 10 answers and give me a short report:
1. Score: in how many of the 10 answers did you name my brand, and where in the list?
2. Who you named instead: the brands you named most, and how often.
3. Where your answers came from: the kinds of sources you used most (brand websites, Reddit, YouTube, review sites, news and blogs, marketplaces). Was my website one of them?
4. Why my brand was left out, in three checks:
   a. Can you find us? Search for my brand and website. Do our pages clearly answer the questions above?
   b. Are we where you look? Are we mentioned on the sources you used?
   c. Do we win the pick? What do the brands you named have that we don't?
5. The 3 fixes most likely to get us named, easiest first.
Be honest. Don't make anything up. If you can't check something, say so.

Then send your brand.

When the answers come back, send this in the same chat, and get your report.

My brand is [your brand], website [your website].
What you get back

A report on your brand.

Five parts, written by the AI your buyers already use.

  1. Your score. In how many of the 10 answers AI named you, and where in the list.
  2. Who it named instead. The brands AI suggests to your buyers, and how often.
  3. Where it looked. The sites AI read to answer: review sites, Reddit, YouTube or brand websites.
  4. Why you were left out. Three checks, below, each with what AI found.
  5. Three fixes. The changes most likely to get you named, easiest first.

AI answers change from run to run, so treat it as a snapshot. Run it again next month and compare.

Why AI names someone else

Three checks decide it.

Miss one, and AI names a competitor instead. The free guide shows how to rank in ChatGPT.

CHECK 1

Can AI find you?

AI answers start with a web search, so your pages must come up for the questions buyers ask.

The fix: Pages that answer buyer questions directly, with clear titles and plain facts.

CHECK 2

Are you where it looks?

Each AI leans on its own sources, like review sites, Reddit, YouTube, top-10 lists and marketplaces.

The fix: Get mentioned and reviewed on the sites your answers came from.

CHECK 3

Do you win the pick?

Among the brands it finds, AI picks the ones with clear facts, comparisons and recent, real reviews.

The fix: Comparison pages, clear prices and specs, and fresh reviews.

The plan my AI team runs

Every week, five steps.

One test shows the gap, and the weekly work closes it.

1

Track

Re-run the buyer questions every week and log who gets named.

2

Find the gaps

Pick the questions where a competitor is named and you are not.

3

Write the answers

Publish pages that answer those questions, including honest comparisons.

4

Check every fact

A reviewer checks every claim, price and number before it goes live.

5

Get mentioned

Collect reviews and mentions on the sites AI reads for your category.
